A new jewel in Porto
The hotel's commitment to the environment goes beyond its construction. It uses renewable energy, produces 20% of its own energy requirements, has 70 photovoltaic modules, water reuse, and a technical management system that optimizes water and energy consumption. All this without compromising on comfort.
The interior design reflects this fusion of nature and modernity. In the spacious lobby, white marble meets wood, which covers the walls, columns, and furniture. The exterior walls and ceilings are made of binderholz CLT BBS in visible quality. The corridor walls and ceilings are clad with binderholz 3-ply solid wood panels. There is also an impressive reception desk, carved from a single tree trunk by Paulo Neves, a Portuguese artist.
The inviting aesthetic extends across eight floors and 162 rooms - from comfort double rooms to deluxe and executive suites. In addition to the rooms, the hotel also has a large event hall with space for over 200 people and a conference room for up to 10 people, making it ideally equipped for hosting business and private events. Guests also have access to a restaurant and a lobby bar. In addition to excellent public transport connections, the hotel also has an underground car park with 40 parking spaces, 7 of which are for electric vehicles and equipped with charging stations.
The Log Porto Hotel invites guests to actively engage in protecting the planet. At the end of their stay, each guest receives an overview of their energy consumption and the savings achieved, so they know exactly how they have contributed to a positive impact.
The hotel combines innovation, comfort, and environmental awareness and is an inspiring example of how the future of the hotel industry can and should be sustainable.
