Residential building Frederik Hendrikstraat, Waalre | Netherlands

In Waalre, near the center of Eindhoven, 26 sustainable, energy-efficient and social rental apartments are being built in solid wood construction on Frederik Hendrikstraat. They are located around a communal courtyard with a gross floor area of 2200 m² and create a green, open, and inviting living environment. The apartment units vary in size from around 57 to 75 m². 

The binderholz b_project team was responsible for structural engineering, design engineering, production and supply of the solid wood elements and the associated fasteners, building components and connectors. In addition, the installation of the complete mass timber structure and its supervision were also carried out.
