The Karvag Elementary School in Averoy, Norway, is a modern multi-purpose building for education, sports, and culture. The sustainable and future-oriented new building with energy- and cost-efficient solutions is a great asset for both the students and the community. With the exception of two small steel beams, all supporting structures are made of solid wood. In addition to the full structural design and plannings work, our b_project team also carried out the prefabrication and delivery of all solid wood components as well as the associated fasteners and connectors.
