Collaboration with BAM Nederland
12.03.2026

BAM Nederland and the binderholz Group are entering into a strategic partnership to take timber construction in the Netherlands to the next level. Together, we are accelerating the transition toward a faster, cleaner, and more scalable construction industry.
Together, we are setting new standards – from residential complexes to office buildings. This is a decisive step toward a more efficient, cleaner, and scalable construction sector.
Our collaboration is already taking concrete shape: together, we are realizing the new office building at Juliana van Stolberglaan in The Hague on behalf of the Rijksvastgoedbedrijf (The Dutch Central Government Real Estate Agency). Reaching a height of 76 meters, this predominantly timber-built structure will serve as a pioneering example of modern, bio-based construction. It will feature a load-bearing structure, floors, and potentially cores made of wood. This approach is intended to significantly reduce the ecological footprint compared to traditional construction methods.
The building, which is intended for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) and the service organization DUO, is scheduled to open its doors in the second quarter of 2030. To minimize disruptions in downtown The Hague, components will be prefabricated in the factory as much as possible. These elements will be transported to the construction site via a logistics center in Moerdijk using electric transport and just-in-time deliveries.
